Printers Row Lit Fest 2025

Saturday, September 6 and Sunday, September 7
All Day

South Dearborn, from Ida B. Wells to Polk.

The weather was great and the programming even better for the 40th Annual Printers Row Lit Fest. The carnival-like weekend of authors, books, and book lovers was one of the best in its storied history. Our board president, Amy Danzer, did expert work orchestrating talks and readings from a wide range of notable, worthwhile authors. Each of the two days, Saturday, September 6 and Sunday, September 7, were filled with exciting literary moments. Our partners once again were After HoursChicago Poetry CenterChicago Quarterly ReviewContratiempoGuild Literary ComplexRhino, and Stories Matter Foundation. Friends and strangers visited our table all weekend, and in the end it was a satisfying way to maintain and build the community that means so much to all of us.
