Leonora finds herself in possession of an enormous, highly valuable empire of real estate plots right in the heart of Chicago. The plot takes a sci-fi turn—before science fiction was an established genre-- plot shifts entirely into sci-fi when the young heiress encounters a strange aircraft that threatens to shut off the Earth's gravity.
