Blog - Write This Down
is a poet, musician, publisher and teacher. He is the author of two books of poetry (a third is forthcoming in the Fall of 2016) and three chapbooks. He is the founder and co-editor of After Hours magazine, a journal of Chicago writing and art, which launched in June of 2000. Albert received his MFA from Spalding University in Louisville, and is an adjunct professor at Concordia University. He also leads several writing workshops throughout the year. He hosts the monthly Traveling Mollys reading series ,which is now in its 18th year. He is also a blues saxophonist and one-time contributing editor to Down Beat magazine.
